Twelve weeks, twelve labors, and each one is a named task for that week — owning the hinge in week 2, your first bodyweight pulldown or unassisted pull-up in week 3, your top set on the squat in week 4, the heavy pull in week 11. Every one of them is claimed inside a session you were already going to do: none is an extra workout, none is a max attempt, and none tests something the program has not spent weeks building toward. Five ask you to write down what you lifted, and two of those five are the numbers your week 12 deload is calculated from.
Four blocks of three weeks: preparation, heavy strength, volume, then a two-week peak and the deload. The peak runs as two separate heavy days so the deadlift and the overhead press get a session of their own rather than trailing a squat-and-bench day tired. And the Pre-Phase is not filler before the real work — it is where the hinge, the vertical pull and the trunk work that Phase I opens on get established, which is why it is worth running even if you have trained before.
Ships as a print-ready PDF with full exercise tables, a week-by-week calendar, and this program's own pre-filled digital training log. (Mnemosyne is the blank, universal edition — not required.)

Heracles was sentenced to labors judged impossible on purpose — the Nemean lion, the Hydra, the stables of Augeas — and when two were discounted on technicalities, he simply did twelve. One at a time, in order, each harder than the last. That was the whole method.
The program runs the same way: one labor at a time, each week standing on the one before it, until the list that looked impossible is finished.
